Black Swan - Farm

Welcome to Black Swan Farm, a special place where nature and sustainable living come together across 2,000 hectares of land. We’re almost completely self-sufficient here, with our own energy, internet, and soon, a system for regenerative food production. We’ve got a young orchard and vineyard that are just starting to flourish, and we grow most of our own food.

Our farm is home to 450 Aberdeen Angus cattle and 12 beautiful horses, with a mix of old barns and new ones, peaceful ponds, and blooming gardens. There’s plenty of space for guests to relax or explore, from the rolling hills to a 60-hectare island that’s part of a bird sanctuary. You might even spot peacocks and deer wandering around!

One of the most magical parts of the farm is our ancient rainforest—full of towering trees and all kinds of wildlife. It’s a place where you can really connect with nature, whether you’re here for adventure or just want to unwind in a peaceful setting.

Black Swan Farm, known as our second home, offers a unique experience where our friends can enjoy full-service food and hospitality, including high-speed internet. This exclusive retreat, not open to public bookings, is a place for play, creativity, and inspiration. Rather than operating for profit, we subsidise the experience, merely covering variable hospitality costs to sustain the farm's community-oriented ethos. We encourage all guests to contribute in any way possible to keep costs low for everyone.

• Open during the following dates: 18th of January - 8th of March 2025
• Costs: $200 USD/night per Person (kids <12 years free; 13 - 16 years 50% off), inclusive of meals, drinks, accommodation and transport to airport. Payment terms: 100% due at booking date. The payment is refundable if the trip is canceled at least one month prior to arrival. Additional services (e.g. Jetski, Buggies, Enduro bikes) are also offered at cost.
• Contribution: When you visit our property, we invite you to contribute in your own unique way, using your special skills and talents. Your individual expertise is not only greatly valued but also helps us keep costs low for all visitors, enriching the experience for everyone.
• Accommodations: Everyone will have a comfortable bed and a warm shower. If you are comfortable in a clean rustic cabin you will be happy and comfortable here.
• Climate: This will be the end of their summer, which usually coincides with beautiful sunny days and evenings that require a sweater.
